Payout amounts

Payouts are tiered by the closed deal value (the amount Crown Collectibles pays the referred seller, not their self-reported estimate):

• $25 when the closed deal is under $1,000.
• $50 when the closed deal is between $1,000 and $4,999.
• $100 when the closed deal is $5,000 or more.

Payouts are made in cash via Venmo or PayPal — referrer's choice. Crown Collectibles does not pay in store credit, gift cards, or cryptocurrency.

Payout timing

Payouts are issued within 14 calendar days of the referred seller being marked paid in Crown Collectibles's ops system. The referrer is contacted by email at the address used to claim the referral code, asking for their preferred payout handle.

If the referrer does not respond within 60 days of the initial payout email, the payout is considered forfeited and the referrer must reach out to claim it.

How attribution works

When a referrer claims a link at /referrals, they receive a deterministic 6-character code derived from their email. The code is appended to the share URL as ?ref=CODE.

When a prospective seller visits any Crown Collectibles page with the ?ref=CODE parameter, the code is stored in a first-party cookie for 30 days. When that seller submits the quote form, the referral code is automatically attached to their submission.

Sellers may also enter a referral code manually on the quote form if they were given one verbally. The form field accepts the same 6-character format.

Eligibility rules

• Self-referrals are not eligible. If the referrer's email matches the referred seller's email or phone number, no payout is made.
• One payout per referee. Only the referee's first closed deal qualifies for a referral payout. Subsequent deals from the same seller do not generate additional referral income.
• The deal must close. A submission alone is not enough — the referred seller must reach paid status.
• First-touch attribution. If multiple referral codes have ever been associated with a seller's browser, the most recent code stored at the time of submission is the one credited. We do not split payouts across multiple referrers.
• Annual cap. Each referrer is capped at $500 in total payouts per calendar year. This keeps payouts under the IRS Form 1099-NEC reporting threshold. If you are a high-volume referrer who consistently exceeds the cap, contact us at hello@crowncollectibles.com and we will arrange a more formal partnership.

Disputes and changes

If you believe a referral was credited incorrectly, or you were the original referrer for a seller whose deal closed without your code attached, email hello@crowncollectibles.com within 30 days of the deal closing with the referee's name or email. We will review the submission record and the cookie history; if there's a clear first-touch case for you, we will pay the standard tier.

Crown Collectibles reserves the right to update these terms; changes apply prospectively only. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.

Crown Collectibles reserves the right to deny payouts on referrals that show clear signs of fraud — coordinated fake submissions, duplicate accounts, or any behavior intended to extract payouts without delivering genuine new sellers.
